The decision to change their children's schools was officially announced by Kensington Palace on Monday, through a statement.
According to the royal source, Prince William, Kate and their children will reside at Adelaide Cottage, a four-bedroom house on the grounds of Windsor Castle, Berkshire.
This move will bring the family closer to both Queen Elizabeth, who also resides at Windsor Castle, and the Duchess's family who live in the same county.

However, their current residence, Kensington Palace, will remain the family's main home, according to the royal source.
For now there are no plans for the family to have in-house employees at Adelaide Cottage, the royal source told CNN.
